As a tutor at Apex Education Services Ltd, you will provide students with tailored tuition and may offer specialist skills, methods or approaches to support individual learning needs.
At Apex we provide tuition for children from year 1 up to GCSE and GCE in English, Maths, and Sciences. We cover 11 plus; Verbal Reasoning and Non_Verbal Reasoning extensively. We ensure that our students always get the best, achieve the best, and become the best!
Basic Requirements for our Tutors
To become a tutor at Apex, you must have a degree in the subject area.
You don’t necessarily need a degree in the subject you want to teach, but a degree in core educational subjects, including maths, English, science, and modern languages, may be useful when tutoring in these subjects. If you have a Second degree or Ph.D. it will be an advantage. QTS is not an essential requirement but having it gives you an edge.
DBS- Enhanced
Having an up-to-date disclosure certificate from the Disclosure and Barring Service (England and Wales), Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme (Scotland) or AccessNI is a compulsory requirement for all our tutors. If you have one, that’s great! If you do not have one do not panic as we will be able to apply for you should you meet other requirements.
